Day #42: Brain Fart

This is a Persian poem form from the 12th century and it’s called an Interlocking Rubaiyat!

Woulda, Shoulda, Coulda

I would like to scream at my head It rolls around, striking my dread My eyes play stupid, they go all white And these eardrums fill with led

I would like to string my torso in tight, stretch myself to a new height, Push in my nose and cut up my jawline Around I go in this self to self fight.

I would like to run after signs Grow a thick, sturdy spine And live like I know how to write Or more so, I just want to be fine.
